We are pleased to announce that Lorraine Stonehouse will be officially joining the team at M3 Job Club as our new Administrator to take over from Judith Boyd as from July 2018.
Lorraine has been volunteering her time to M3JC for the last few months. We started the process of seeking a new administrator due to Judith deciding to take on a new career path in the coming months.
Lorraine’s former career, spanning 14 years, is in the sub-prime mortgage sector as a Senior Mortgage Underwriter and also running her own business as a Specialist Mortgage broker.
In 2006, she returned to her home town of Basingstoke to raise her two young children. She worked as a volunteer for eight years as Treasurer for NAS Basingstoke, and then as Secretary for Everest Autism and ADHD Club, organising activities, events and providing a support network for special needs families in the Borough.
More recently, she has been supporting her husband with his new dog walking and pet care business, WoofnBoots, whilst volunteering for M3JC.
Lorraine has many interests including sport, performing arts and animal welfare. She has a passion for supporting and encouraging people to reach their full potential; to achieve their goals in spite of life’s many challenges.
Lorraine has already brought both her connections and experience which has benefited M3JC by introducing the former Basingstoke Mayor and Mayoress to speak at one of the M3JC sessions to create awareness of what we do to help local people.
In addition, Lorraine has been working on a long-standing project of an M3 Job Club Welcome Pack and has also behind proactively helping M3JC secure a £1000 donation from the Mayor’s Community Chest.
Please join me in welcoming Lorraine to the M3JC family; she brings empathy, understanding and a calming approach, which I am sure all who meet her will find.
Lorraine can be contacted via the email@example.com email address.
