Thank you to Seb Mayfield and Alison Bridge from Action Hampshire who spent a couple of hours with us yesterday to tell us all about the fantastic scheme, Inspiring Enterprises.
Action Hampshire is based in Winchester.  The scheme is funded by the National Lottery Fund and EU Social Fund and is free for people who are not in paid work and for those setting up social enterprise, for people who would like to use skills for social good (maybe a local service that used to be there and now isn’t/is broken and needs fixing).  The scheme assists and supports with idea generation and development, developing skills, introduction to a community of entrepreneurs, other educational programmes, business and finance planning, governance and going through the process of setting up as self employed, mentoring people through achieving what they want to do.
There are some Workshops in Winchester coming on 19th and 25th March and 4th April (timings are 1000-1300). Call 01962 854971/email inspiringenterprise@actionhampshire.org to book.
