In case you missed our news post on 23rd March, here is Kate Highland’s fantastic feedback from her time with us:
“Thank you for another great session today. I never under estimate how much work you do behind the scenes to make the weekly meetings happen.
I also wanted to let you and the other trustees know that I have found a new role as a PA – I am super excited, relieved and emotional all in one!
Being part of the M3 Job Club has been absolutely wonderful. If I could please ask for you to pass on my thanks to the trustees and all of the presenters for all that they do in providing a safe place for people like me who are looking for a new role. It can be soul destroying receiving rejection or not even receiving any replies after applying for what you think is your perfect role. There have been days I did not want to get out of bed, let alone switch my laptop on. However joining the weekly calls as part of my routine and the additional one day courses has been more valuable than you will ever know.
If anyone reads my LinkedIn profile, you will see that my favourite quote is ‘At the end of the day people won’t remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.’ Maya Angelou. I will never, ever forget how everyone at the M3 Job Club has made me feel, thank you.
I wish my fellow clubbers every success and happiness in finding their next roles and as for you and the trustees, I wish you all the happiness in the world as you deserve it for your continued kindness and encouragement.” Kate H.
